Track

I still am the center along with the #34. I'm still taller, but he can jump higher than me so hes more of our rebounding machine. I am now in track season and we have just finished our first week of practice. After April vaca we have our first of five meets. This year I am doing the 100,200,long jump, and 4 X 100 relay. Hopefully we are going to have some records beaten this year. mile runners is close to the record, I'm a ffot away from the long jump record, one of our lady hurdlers is close and our relay team is just like lightning. I am hoping for some records this year on our team and I'll keep you posted on a weekly basis on how our team does once the meets start.

  1. Spent the afternoon in Wells yesterday. Sean's house looks awesome, plenty of room for big house parties when the old folks leave town. With a little carpet and drywall, Tim & Cindy should be able to make a nice crib for themselves in the basement. All it needs now is a snowmobile + hot tub.

Ended the day with some abysmal pizza (sorry, tim, that 'za wouldn't sell in San Antonio!) and some hoops with Sean. For a skinny little 14 yr. old, Sean packs some muscle under the hoop, and I expect to be recovering for some days to come. I salvaged a little roche pride by throwing my considerable weight around under the basket, but I can see my days are numbered. Tough to be on the downside of the hill. Only consolation is seeing Tim on the porch and knowing I can still spot him 15 points in game of 21 (that is if either of us could avoid a massive coronary for the 3 hours it would take us to score 21 points!)

If and when there is a roche memorial athletic event, as the elder statesman of the family, I claim Sean on my team!
